Acts 1-5
Act 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
We aren't to worry about when and how things will happen. We are to trust in God. It easier said than done, though, since we ARE human.
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
This is an important step in becoming a Christian. Without this step, you cannot be a Christian.
:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
Isn't that awesome? They made sure everyone had what they needed. If someone had something, they shared it with those who did not.
Act 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
We need to always remember this!
The next chapters are Proverbs 3&4.
