2 Timothy

2Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
How can we show others about God and Christ, if we don't study His Word? If we don't study, then when someone asks us about God, we will be embarressed and ashamed that we can't answer them.

3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
God has inspired the entire Bible. Reading it is a very good thing to do. It gives us a great doctrine, reproves us when we are wrong, corrects us when we mess up, and gives us plenty of instruction on how to be a Christian. We can't go wrong reading God's Word. It's all there.

Tomorrow's chapters will be Jeremiah 27-31.
