Hebrews 10-13

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Having faith means believing in and hoping for something we cannot see.

:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
So, without faith that God is the True and Living God, then how can you come to Him?

12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
We need to remember that everywhere we go, there are many witnesses to what we say and do. We need to look to Jesus as our example on how to live our lives, and not be ashamed of Him.

13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
We need to remember to care for those we see that need it. You never know when that someone might just be an angel.

:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Jesus has never changed. Jesus will never change. He was and is always the same.

The next chapters are Jeremiah 47-52.
