Ephesians

My previous comments can be seen here.
Eph 6:4
I'm not sure why Paul told just the fathers to not provoke their children, but mommas shouldn't do it either. And what does it mean to not provoke your children to wrath? I think it means that when we are dicsiplining them, we need to do so in a loving manner, and not in anger. Do this in anger can make them mad at us, for being "so unfair". Also, picking at them can cause them to get angry. Learn when enough is enough, and stop before you get to that.
What does it mean to you?

The next chapters are Amos 5-9.

And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
