The Last Day's Plan ~ Part 8

Yesterday was a long day. I got almost everything on the list finished. Christmas gifts are all bought and wrapped. My things are all packed and ready to go. I know what odds and ends the boys want to take. Both the boys finished their Science Tests. And I took Jacob to the Doctor. He has Bronchitis! Ugh  Well, that's one more thing for my MIL to do this weekend. He's on FOUR different medications.
So, I made it to the last day! I'm almost done, just a few more things left on the list. Today, is Prep day! What fun....I get to have only liquids (no milk) until Midnight. After that, nothing. I also get to take Dolcolax. Two this morning and two this afternoon. This is gonna be a superfun day! lol
Today's plan (in between those frequent breaks) is as follows:
The last of the Laundry Check
Clean the Bathroom Check
Put up the new Shower Curtain Liner Check
Clean the Kitchen Check
Change Sheets on my Bed Check
Vacuum Living Room Check
Change Oreo's Bedding Check
Pack the Boys' Clothes Check
Gather Everything to go to Mom's Check
Pay the Bills and Pack up all the Paperwork Check

Plan for the Next Few Days ~ Part 6

I was really busy this weekend. I got all the Christmas Shopping done! Yay! I got April's house cleaned up. I'll go back tomorrow for the last time for a while. I also cleaned the Church Building.
I also got my hair cut. It's been a while, and it was starting to look bad. I couldn't do anything with it, and I didn't want to have to do much with it after my surgery. My husband has still not noticed it, and it's been two days. It's still pretty long, so maybe that's why. The boy's noticed and my Mother knew I was doing it, so she noticed, but I don't think anyone else did. So, I guess I can't blame the man. I guess I'm gonna have to tell him.
By the time I got home, on Saturday, I was exhausted, so, I did not do the vacuuming until this morning.
Sunday, we went to Church, came home and had a big Dinner, everyone took a nap, we went back to church, had supper with everyone after services, and came home and did a few things before going to bed.
Last night, I got all the boys' Schoolwork together and packed away for Mom's, and ran the dishwasher. I also gave the kitchen a once over and had the boys clean their room and the living room. While I was gone all day Saturday, my 5 guys trashed the place! So, they had to give it a cleanup job before going to bed, last night.
This morning, I did the vacuming and got the boys' room straightened up. The schoolwork is packed away in the old backpacks, and Landon's clothes he's outgrown are all in a big bag.
   So, now we are at:
Today's Plan
*Laundry ~ Because, again, it is a huge pile Done
*Run Errands ~ We need to make a Library run, and I need to go to the Bank and Post Office Done
*Pack Odds and Ends ~ I have to go through stuff and pick and choose what goes and what stays This Could Take Awhile
*Schoolwork ~ The boys need to finish their Science today Almost Done
*Redo Odd Jobs ~ Because the things that have been done, never STAY done Never Gonna get Done
*Movies! ~ Jacob was dry the entire 7 days, so off we go tonight. I think we'll see Planet 51. I'll let you know how it is. Had Fun!

The Plan for this Week ~ Part 5

Well, I almost finished all the things planned for yesterday. I'll have to add to today's work, but that's okay. The reason I didn't finish it all, was I added to my work. I got down on my hands and knees and mopped the Bathroom, Kitchen, Laundry Room and in front of the Front Door. I NEVER DO THAT!!! I use a sponge mop all the time, but something took over my mind and body and made me get in the floor! lol I'm pretty wore out, now.
Today' Plan
*I need to vacuum, since I didn't get to it yesterday.
*I have to finish the Christmas Shopping. I only have one more gift and a couple of Stocking Stuffers left. Hopefully they will all be wrapped and ready for the In-Laws to take back home with
them next weekend. / Check
*Go clean April's House. I only can go twice more before my surgery, then her Hubby's on his own. Sorry, Richard! lol I'm gonna have to take Medical Leave for a few weeks. lol / Check
*It's my week to clean the Church Building. I hope I have enough strenght left to do so. I'm really hurting this week, but trying to push through the pain and get stuff done anyway. Only 5 more days til the surgery, so maybe I can hold out til then. / Check
*I also need to get the boys schoolwork packed up for Nanny's house. They each have one last subject (Science for both) to finish up, then they can start new workbooks next month. I'm not sure if this job will get done today or tomorrow. We'll have to wait and see.
Well, it looks like another busy day, including a trip to Wal-Mart on a Saturday (two days after Thanksgiving!). Someone shake some sense into me!

The Plan For the Next Week and a Half ~ Part 2

Today, I am continuing yesterday's post on the things I'm trying to get done before my surgery.
I got the laundry done, the unpacking finished, the towels folded, the clothes put up, the desk situated, the bills paid, and part of the shopping done.
The unfinished shopping trip was not something I could help. I had been in the store for a whole 5 minutes, when Hubby called and said he had to go back to work. I did manage to get two Christmas Gifts (I already knew what I was after before getting there), before he'd called. So, I put the other gifts on hold and quickly got what groceries I HAD to have last night, plus a couple of items that were on the list as I walked past them. I was home in about 20 minutes. So, that's not finished, but maybe it will be soon. I'll probably try again tonight.

Today's things to be done are:

* More School ~ Lane is ready for his Math Test and Jacob finished his Bible Workbook and is ready for his L Arts Test.
* Clean My Room ~ Just like the desk, I can't seem to keep this clean and organized. I have so little space to put things, and it all seems to end up here. /Check
* Do a Load of Towels ~ That's an everyday job. / Check
* Finish the Shopping ~ If I have time.
* Mix up Some Bread Dough to be Baked on Wednesday ~ If you only use 1 package of yeast, then you can let it rise overnight. / Check
* Clean the Laundry Room ~ For whatever reason (and I haven't discovered it), the Washer and Dryer constantly have a layer of lint all over them. So, I need to clean them. / Check

The Plan For The Next Week and a Half ~ Part 1

Well, I realized this weekend that it's only a week and a half til my surgery. AHHHHH!!!! I'm not ready! I have too much to do!
Okay....I'm calm now. I have a plan. Whew! My stress level is going up and down and back up. But, I'm okay. I have a plan!

I have to take it one day at a time! SO, THE PLAN FOR TODAY IS:
* Laundry ~ We just got back from a weekend trip to the In-Laws. / Check
* Make My Desk Presentable ~ It continues to be a problem. I clean it off, only for it to get piled up in a couple of days. / Check
* Pay Bills ~ This cannot be done until the desk is cleared. / Check
* Grocery Shopping ~ I neglected to go last week, due to the fact I was busy getting ready for our trip. So, I need to go get a few things to get us through the next two weeks.
* School ~ Can't leave out school. The boys are going to finish the workbooks they are currently on, so we can start fresh at Mom's. / Check

So, I need to get started. We've actually already been doing quite a bit this morning. We had to unpack, empty the dishwsher, clean the boys room, put up laundry that was already done, clean off the table for school, fold towels, catch up on emails, and such, and not lose my mind in the process. HA!

Stay tuned for each day's plan.

Motivations

I'm taking Anthony to his appt., today. He's having his follow-up Scope done. Hopefully, his stomach will look better than it did in September. Half his stomach was covered in ulcers, then. He's been on a very strick diet, since then. I'm not 100% sure that he's been behaving himself, these last few weeks, though. I guess we'll see if he's better, or not. Prayers would be greatly appreciated.

This Week's Goals

  1. Make bread
  2. Make a list of what I'll need the month of Dec, at Mom's
  3. Decide what to buy six people for Christmas
  4. Keep the house clean
  5. Try not to stress over my upcoming surgery
  6. Keep up with the laundry
  7. Organize my time better
  8. Keep up with the schoolwork while trying to stick to my goals

Monday Morning Motivations

This week, we are trying to get things back on track. With me sick and the boys gone, things are way off track. This week, I want to try to fix budget friendly, healthy meals. Thanks to http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com/40dollarmenu.htm I was able to get what I needed for this week's meals very cheaply. I also have some meat in the freezer, so that will help.

This morning, I made SIX small loaves of Old-Fashioned Low-Yeast Bread and a double batch of Pinto Beans. For breakfast, we had Pancakes, Orange Juice, and Instant Dry Milk. The boys said the milk was good, but not like store-bought.
I also have gotten the boys schoolwork going. That's slow going, but we'll get there. The housework is also slow going. I used up a lot of my meager energy cooking, so the cleaning is not happening like I want it to.

My goals for this week:
  1. Get my kitchen back in order
  2. Clean the Bathroom - top to bottom
  3. Vacuum the entire house
  4. Mop
  5. Keep the laundry caught up
  6. Keep the Boys' Schoolwork caught up

I have a lot to do in the next 4 1/2 weeks, to get ready for my surgery. That's not very long!

Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

Have a Blessed Week!
