Genesis 4-7

Genesis 4-7

Again, not much jumped out at me today. One main thing I want to say is based on 7:2&3.

Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female, and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

You know, everywhere you turn, people talk of the animals on the ark as if there were two lions, two polar bears, two, horses, two peacocks, two whatevers...etc.... But, these verses clearly state that there were some animals that there were fourteen of and some there were four. Seven males and seven females, two males and two females, plus fourteen of each bird (from the air~don't think tht includes the penguins, but not sure).
Sure, they walked into the ark two by two, but there weren't JUST two.

Just a bit for thought.

Tomorrow's chapters are Matthew 5-9. Lord willing, they will be on time, this time. :-P
