FOR TODAY... March 30, 2010

Outside my window... Sunshine and beautiful!

I am thinking... how wonderful it would be if today went according to plan! LOL

I am thankful for... friends and family!

I am wearing... a long button-up, pink dress

I am going... to take Landon to the ENT this afternoon. Hopefully he'll decide Landon needs tubes in his ears.

I am currently reading... Manual of Homemaking a book (written in 1919) for free here. Also, How to Study the Bible for Yourself.

From the learning rooms... We started out very well, last week, doing our new work from Living Books Curriculum; but due to having to improvise my plans for the week, ended the week doing nothing. So, this week, we're getting right back in there. Check out what we do from day to day here.

I am creating... a goal for myself. I want to see if I can manage to stay in skirts and dresses all week (not counting pjs). I feel more female when I wear a skirt. While growing up, I did almost everything in skirts. Surely, I can now, too.

On my mind... Blake looks all grown up, now he has his glasses. I hope they work out for him. We go back in 6 months, to see if the is any improvement.

Noticing that... This is my 200th post! WOW!

I am hoping... to have a giveaway when I reach my 250th post. Any ideas you want to share?

Pondering these words... "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." ~ Philippians 4:13

I am hearing... Absolutely nothing!

From the kitchen... I need to use up all that freezer cooking I did, so Nicole and I can do some more! Tonight ~ Leftover Curry Chicken
Wed ~ Sloppy Joes
Thurs ~ Hamburger Soup
Fri ~ Pending plans to eat out?....
Sat ~ Pork Roast w/ Apples and Pears
Sun ~ Beef Roast and Brown Gravy on Rice
Mon ~ Taco Bake

Around the house... Landon lost his last and final "pappy" (pacifier). Sunday afternoon, he had it for nap, Sundat night, it was nowhere to be found. We looked all over, but never found it. He's not happy, but he'll get over it. It was time anyway. lol
We went to Blake's H.I.P.P.Y. (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) Meeting, yesterday evening. We got to watch a play that some Middle school aged (and younger) students put together, then went down the street and had pictures made. We got a Family Picture 5x7 and 3x4 (if I understood right) that we should get at the end of next week. It was a nice, FREE, family evening.
One of my favorite things... Reading to my Boys.

A few plans for the rest of the week: STAY ON TRACK WITH SCHOOLWORK!!!

Here is picture for thought I am sharing (or two).....
