1 Thessalonians
:17 Pray without ceasing.
:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
:19 Quench not the Spirit.
:20 Despise not prophesyings.
:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
We are to always rejoice. No matter what is going on in our lives, we need to be rejoicing in the Lord. We need to be giving thanks to God for everything we have. Let's be sure we are not dimming that fire that a brother or sister in Christ might be feeling. We need to read our Bibles and prove everything we hear, and stand for what we know to be true. We should make sure that we are staying away from those things that even LOOK evil.
The next chapters will be Jeremiah 12-16.
