After you have become a follower, you will then have several chances to get your name in the pot. Leave a separate comment for each one you choose to do.

You can tell me that in the same comment.  *EDIT* 5/12/10 ~ I am not going to be using this blog at this time. It was taking up too much time to have to keep up with 2 blogs, and I don't really have much to say on this one, anyway. When I started it, I thought I'd be posting a lot of Homeschool Stuff, and wanted a seperate place to put it all. Maybe, one day, my life will slow dow, enough to do it again, but I doubt it. I'm still keeping it up, till I can figure out how to move a couple of the posts to this blog, but I'll not be posting homeschool stuff on it, anymore.
  2. What is your Favorite Bible Passage? Do you have a particular one that is getting you through something, right now? Do you have a verse that has been a favorite since you were a kid? Leave a comment telling me what that Passage is. If you wish to share the reason why it is a favorite, that will get you a bonus entry.
  3. Leave a comment telling me what the funniest thing one of your children has done. If you do not have children, what's the funniest thing you did as a child?
  4. Since I try to use this Blog as a Shining Example of Jesus Christ, share an idea you have for something you'd like to see me do a series of posts on (such as my Daily Bible Reading Posts).
  5. Tell a friend about my blog and write a comment saying you did. I don't have to know who you told. Honor System, Baby! lol
  6. What is your ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOK (or series)?
  7. Finally, if you have a blog, facebook, twitter, etc; Tell of this giveaway and leave a comment with the link to where you did so.
Rules are:
  • Enter only 1 comment per entry.
  • No Entry will be accepted after 12:00 Midnight, Sunday Night, May 23, 2010.

  1. I became a follower of your BLOG

I looked at your home school blog and became a follower

My favorite Bible passage would be Proverbs 31.. The passage about the Virtuous Woman. This is my favorite passage, because it reminds me of my goals as a woman, mother, and wife.

My children are always doing something hilarious, but one of the funniest things lately... My little girl was ready for breakfast this morning and we were in a hurry so told her to just grab something out of the " in a hurry" breakfast corner. A little while later she came in my room telling me that she wanted her serving of Fiber... Well, being she is 4 that just sounds really really funny... MOM I want some fiber... Well, I got to thinking and I have some Fiber One bars in the cabinet and she saw them and wanted some Fiber. I guess she got the word from the TV commercial. =)

It might be helpful for you to do a series on your kid's chore charts... Like ideas on how you get your kids to help around the house... Like do you do lists or charts or.....

I told a friend about your blog. =)

My favorite is the Twilight Series.. Yes... I know... Silly. =) I also LOVE any Nicholas Sparks Novel,, My favorite of his is The Last Song.

  4. My favorite Bible Verse is Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Every time I go through anything, especially really hard and trying times like Will and I are dealing with right now, this verse helps get me through the day. It reminds me that things are going to work out.

  5. One of the funniest things Meredith does is call her Daddy "WILL". If she's looking for him, she yells, "WILL", and when she finds him, she says "Hi, Daddy!" It makes me laugh every time.

One of the funniest things Seth does is the fact that he is his sister's shadow. Anything she does or wants, he does or wants. If she wants to wear shoes, he brings me shoes too. If she wants milk, he wants milk. It makes me laugh that he's so predictible. If I see Mer coming with a request I could bet money Seth will only be seconds behind her.

  6. A blog idea for you, would be to have a kids day. Where you share something in the Bible you've been studying with your kids, and let them write the blog. Let each of them put their thoughts about a certain Bible story, etc.

  13. I've not finished it yet but I think The Last Song is going to be my all time favorite book! (or any other Nicholas Sparks novel!)

Other than the Bible that is, and my favorite Book of the Bible is a toss up between Proverbs & Psalms. :o)

  17. I don't really have a favorite verse of all time but one that's been on my mind alot since having kids is

1 Corinthians 13:1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

As a parent it is very important to do things out of love and not out of anger. You might do the same thing but if you do it out of love it will build up and teach, whereas out of anger it will tear down and leave scars. I wish I could get this tattooed into my brain so I don't make any mistakes. :p It applies to so much more than just kids but it's been on my heart regarding parenting mostly.

  18. My kids do funny things all the time- or I am just so gaga over my littles that I think they're funny all the time. ;) I have a Tuesday blog hop I started to share all the crazy things they say and do.
My dear daughter is 3 1/2 and one morning a couple weeks ago I was in a tank top and shorts trying to wash up. I knew the toddlers would inevitably burst in on me or have a crisis while I was washing so I opted for some sort of clothing while washing up for modesty's sake. She's not used to seeing me without a skirt and with no sleeves so she asked me if I need to put on a shirt with sleeves. I told her I will but I need to wash my armpits first. She nodded sympathetically and said, "Deodorant can help you."

  19. I don't have an idea for a series of posts... I don't even have an idea for my own blog most of the time. Hehe. I just write when and what is on my heart and then there's times when I don't write because nothing's stuck on repeat in my brain that day.

But I did tell a friend about your blog! :)

  20. My alltime favorite single book is Frank Peretti's "The Oath" and my alltime favorite series is "The Mark Of The Lion" triology by Francine Rivers. :) Actually if I made a list of top 10 or 20 favorite books, there would be *alot* of Francine Rivers books on my list. ;)

  24. My favorite bible verse is Psalm 139:23. It is hard to choose a favorite though. I often use this verse in my prayers asking God to search my heart and cleanse me from anything going on in my life at the time that might be causing anxiety, anger, stress, etc.

  25. My favorite book would be any of the books in the Redemption Series by Karen Kingsbury. They were some of the best books I have ever read!
